Desktop Email Setup

Setting up email for a desktop or mobile email client is quite simple!

When you create an email account in your DirectAdmin control panel, you may want to check that email account on your desktop instead of relying on webmail. This is simple process that you can achieve using the following settings:

Username: user@your-domain.com
Password: <Your-Password>
POP/IMAP Server: mail.your-domain.com
SMTP Server: mail.your-domain.com port 587

(Replace the user, password, and mail-server hostnames)

It's important to make sure your password is correct, as too many authentication failures in a short period will result in your IP address being banned via the firewall as a security measure. If you believe this may have occurred, please ticket in and we can review the firewall logs to see if you've been blocked, and lift the block if so.
