Definitions

Port Speed: This is the maximum available network speed that can be potentially achieved by your server.

Data Allowance / Bandwidth / Transfer: This is the maximum amount of monthly data that can be sent/received by your server. This resets at the beginning for the month.

Traffic Accounting: This is how the monthly data allowance is measured. It consists of a combination of both inbound and outbound traffic to/from your server.

Bandwidth Accounting Reset Date: This is the date that your monthly data usage resets to zero. This is done on the monthly anniversary of your server. (Ex: You buy server on March 5th, the data usage counter resets on April 5th)

Network Throttle At Limit: If reaching your data allowance for the month, this setting will throttle your port speed to a slower speed until a new accounting period begins.

Traffic Limit Notification: Notifications dispatched via email alerting you of your existing traffic usage for the accounting period.
