What is a geofeed?
A geofeed is a data format defined in RFC 8805, used by network operators to provide geolocation information for their IP address ranges, enabling efficient and accurate updates to geolocation databases.
We maintain an up-to-date geofeed for all of our IP subnets, however the nature of IP Geolocation means that some geoIP tools can incorrectly report location data. This is not something we can "just fix", as some websites and services have outdated information that they have not yet updated. Simply put, it is not our responsibility to ensure somerandomgeoipwebsite.xyz that you use to test your server IP is using an up-to-date geoip database.
Our geofeed can be found here: https://geofeed.as210630.net/incognet-rfc8805.csv
If a website or tool you're using shows an incorrect or unexpected geoip location, this may mean they're using an older geoip database and have not yet updated their database from our currently active geofeed.
